Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that kills many gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria such as E.coli, Clostridium, Streptococcus, Staphylococcus, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Klebsiella and Haemophilus. It is prescribed for acute and chronic respiratory and lung diseases and for gastro-intestinal and urinary infections in poultry.
It is well absorbed following administration by mouth more than Ampicillin and giving higher plasma & tissue concentrations. its
absorption is less affected by the presence of food in the stomach

Each 1 g contains:
Amoxycillin (Trihydrate) 200 mg
Excipients up to 1 g

| Dosage | Poultry:100 gm/200 liters of drinking water for 5 days. Sheep & Goats: 2-8 gm/Animal twice daily for 5 days. Calves & Foals : 4-8 gm/Animal twice daily for 5 days Dogs and cats: 0.5 g per 10 kg live weight with drinking water every 12 hours for 4 consecutive days Or according to the veterinarian’s instructions |
