Chlortetracycline Shad 50% is a broad spectrum antibiotic given to poultry to treat mycoplasma and infections caused by Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria such as Staphylococcus streptococcus, Clostridia, Pasteurella, Salmonella, E. coli, and Klebsiella

Chlortetracycline hydrochloride             50 g

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines For animals suffering from kidney failure or liver lesions

Drug interaction

It is not given in combination with penicillins and cephalosporins

Usage

Oral administration via drinking water

Dosages

Poultry: for treatment: 50-100 g per 200 liters of water for 3-5 days Use the water-dissolved preparation within 24 hours of preparation

Withdrawal period

Meat: 7 days from the last dose It is not used in raising laying hens to produce eggs for human consumption

Warnings

Do not administer in animals with active microbial digestion.

Store in a dry, dark place, at a temperature of 15-25°C
