Description
It is used as an effective expectorant and treatment for respiratory infections accompanied by mucus secretions caused by Gram-positive bacteria, Mycoplasma (chronic respiratory infection), or infectious coryza.
It is also used to treat gastrointestinal and respiratory tract infections caused by bacteria susceptible to both sulfadimidine and trimethoprim in poultry, rabbits, and calves, such as E. coli infections, Salmonella infections, Pasteurella infections, infectious coryza, and bacterial enteritis
