Shad Doxy Col Fort
Shad doxy col fort is a combination of two antibiotics and expectorant which are:
– Doxycline a bacteriostatic broad spectrum antibiotic active against
Mycoplasma, Chlamydia, Rickettsia, gram negative and gram positive bacteria that cause diseases as Haemophilus (Coryza) in poultry.
– Colistin is a bactericidal antibiotic effective mainly on gram negative bacteria, it is active strongly
on local intestinal infections and diarrhoea caused by: E.coli, Shigella and Pseudomonas in poultry.
– Ambroxol acts as mucolitic expectorant remove excess mucous in respiratory infections
Composition
Each 1 g contains
doxycycline hydrochloride 400 mg
colistin as sulphate 800 000 IU
ambroxol hydrochloride 10 mg

| Dosage | Poultry: 1 gm / 4 liters of drinking water daily for 3 – 5 days. (0.5 gm Shad Doxycol Forte /10 kg b.w) Or according to the veterinarian’s instructions |
